Super talented Tess Master is probably one of the top women who we’re completely in awe of – both for her courageous commitment to forge her own destiny and for her incredible honesty.

As the author of the new book “ The Blender Girl”, she’s spent the last several years writing, blogging, sharing recipes, writing and blogging some more. She’s got this infectious enthusiasm for all things blended and with the launch of her new book, blender peeps far and wide can enjoy her easy recipes. Loving life behind the lens as I do, the colorful images on each page will have you longing to be barefoot in the garden picking fresh herbs. The book contains 100 Gluten Free, Vegan Recipes – delicious and nutritious smoothies, drinks, appetizers, snacks, salads, soups, main dishes, desserts, and condiments that you can whip up in a blender. Trust me when I tell you, she covers all things blended!

What do you get when you combine a Blendaholic and a Stalkaholic? A very cool friendship! I had the pleasure of meeting Tess years ago in Los Angeles (thanks Mr. Best) over lunch. From the moment we met we shared a passion for blogging, branding and social media. She’s been my number one cheerleader offering a listening ear, laughter and love. Women who have taken control of their lives can inspire and motivate us. Tess is that kind of woman. Her fearless approach to living resonate with all who meet her. Tess’s dynamic personality and down-to-earth approach has made her a go-to personality for mainstream eaters and seasoned vegetarians who share her passion that natural, healthy food can be easy and fun. All that plus juggling a wildly successful Acting/Voice Over career, her pup “Cookie” and a super-hot boyfriend Scott Brick. How does she do it?

Over 250 people attended her Blender Girl book launch party April 8th, 2014, complete with live music, swirling Vitamix machines and recipes from the book. Other goodies included a raw taco buffet, kale shakes, probiotic drinks, healing juices and beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables. BTW – the swag bags rocked!

Tess imagined big dreams, made them a reality and is living a life she loves. She encourages us to do the same. I’ve been a witness to her hard work and dedication. Congratulations Tess ~ you are an inspiration!

So go ahead, pull that blender out from underneath the cabinet and order your copy of The Blender Girl book today. Tess will have you going “Mental for Lentils” and longing for “Apple Pie In A Glass” faster than you can say “Blender Girl”

You can thank me later…

With an Italian background, she cites her Mother and grandmother ( Mamie ) as the major influence of her love for food.  Yes, homemade pasta hung from the clothesline in the kitchen and rolling 100 meat balls for a holiday dinner was the norm.  Raised in Pennsylvania. she spent time in Atlanta, Georgia and ultimately settled along the stunning coast of Laguna Beach, Ca. Self taught in everything, she learned to appreciate the amazing flavors, scents and uses for exotic herbs and spices and applies her knowledge to cooking today. Despite enjoying other creative endeavors like painting, photography and clothing design, she realized she would never love another career the way she loves all the stories surrounding food.  And it's capturing those stories that has not only become her greatest passion but a culinary drug worth passing around!  After all, food is a shared experience and no one better to share it with than the entire world. And thus the Food Stalker was born, utilizing all that passion and her fearlessness to capture even the most impossible stories. It's one thing to write about food, but far more exciting to actually capture it and all those stories that make every scent come to life.  And once she sets out, there's no stopping her, because no one follows that scent better than her---and no telling where she'll end up next.
