Taittinger Champagne and Beverly Hills – The Perfect Pairing

The eldest daughter of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, Vitalie is taking the reins at her family’s Champagne house, serving as a global ambassador for the brand, hosting Taittinger tastings and dinners in key cities around the world. With a degree in design, Vitalie is currently artistic director for the family-owned house, which she joined in 2007, starting out in marketing. Her mission is to develop and reinforce Taittinger’s image through its visual identity via projects such as the Taittinger Collection series, where each release is designed by a contemporary artist.

She will be in Beverly Hills raising her glass for a Champagne Toast at The Screen Actors Guild Awards Show, this Sunday, January 27, 2013 so be sure to watch. You can also meet her as she hosts a very special Tasting of CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER with L’Ermitage Wine Club, Friday January 25, 2013 which includes charcuterie & passed hors d’oeuvres from Chef Benjamin Dayag. Once you meet Vitalie you’ll understand why Champagne and Beverly Hills are the perfect pairing! Creatively directing Champagne’s only family owned Grand Marque Champagne House, Vitalie will charm you, as will her Champagnes. Just as every piece of clothing sends a silent message, so does every glass of champagne. Some make you smile, some a symbol of refinement and some just as sparkling as a beautiful window at Bergdorf Goodman’s. With an Italian background, she cites her Mother and grandmother ( Mamie ) as the major influence of her love for food.  Yes, homemade pasta hung from the clothesline in the kitchen and rolling 100 meat balls for a holiday dinner was the norm.  Raised in Pennsylvania. she spent time in Atlanta, Georgia and ultimately settled along the stunning coast of Laguna Beach, Ca. Self taught in everything, she learned to appreciate the amazing flavors, scents and uses for exotic herbs and spices and applies her knowledge to cooking today. And thus the Food Stalker was born, utilizing all that passion and her fearlessness to capture even the most impossible stories. It's one thing to write about food, but far more exciting to actually capture it and all those stories that make every scent come to life.  And once she sets out, there's no stopping her, because no one follows that scent better than her---and no telling where she'll end up next.
