Waikki is back, baby and this Food Stalker is about to hop on a jet plane and head deep into the Hawaiian heartland. With my coconut shell bikini top packed, before too long I’ll be moving those hips like one of those motorized hip-shaking hula girls! (after a jump-start Mai Tai of course…hey, the tiki torches won’t be the only thing that’s lit). I’ll be visiting the farmers market with Glen Chu of Indigo Restaurant, cooking up a little something in the kitchen, exploring Chinatown for oodles of noodles and driving up the coast to escape the masses in search of the perfect sunset spot. Don’t be surprised, I may even take surfing lessons near the famous Banzai pipeline from a bronzed beach boy and find a secluded beach to sunbathe au natural just like the turtles! Well, truth be told, we won’t be sharing any of those images here on the blog, sorry. I promise not to leave home without my spirit of Aloha and my “hang-loose” attitude to bring you all the juicy tidbits I can get my hands on…stay tuned.
